Castello di Rosciano was the location chosen by Jessica and Jack for a simple, warm and intimate ceremony. The guests for the wedding were coming with from all over the world – Boston to London, to Japan to New Zealand…
There is no feeling better in this world, than planning a wedding in a remote, ancient european location. That’s how my client Jessica and her husband-to-be, Marco felt hiring me to fly with them to Italy and capture their wedding for the future memories….
I will be always grateful for the fact that I had an opportunity to photograph this marvelous destination wedding. The one which took place right in the heart of the Tuscanese countryside, a rural part of northern Italy…
What the bride has to say about her own impressions:
We thought of Tuscany, Italy because it’s midway between Milan (where we met with my future hubby) and Rome (where we have conceived our dear baby). We know this region very good because Jack’s father was born in these hills and we have a big family house where we often go for he holidays when i Europe. Tuscany is the perfect combination of relaxation, good food, friendliness and history.
We have visited a few locations as we were choosing the exact wedding venue, the perfect place to say these loving vows at… But as soon as we’ve seen the Castello di Rosciano for the first time, we knew that it was *the* place we were looking for.
Stefano said: “A princess like you deserves a castle”. From the courtyard of the castle, there’s a stunning view overlooking the hills of Bettona, Assisi and Perugia.
After first few years of working for an event agency and with dozens of beautiful wedding sets already in my portfolio, I decided to give it a go and opened up my very own wedding photography service.
Thanks to our family and friends it was an unforgettable, unique and colorful American-Italian wedding.
It was very important for us to fit both my husband’s Italian-American heritage to these celebrations, as well as to preserve a traditionally American, pop-culture inspired event…
Special thanks to Andrea & Federica for organizing this event for us!
